xxxx Toyota - Dolphin Motorhome ? 30,600 ORIGINAL MILES!
Only second owner. I purchased it from a neighbor a few years ago and it has been stored until recently. He was a jewelry maker and used it for shows, etc. before he moved permanently to Florida.
This Dolphin, is a true ONE TON CHASSIS, dually large 6 lug, FULL-FLOATING axle!
This year/model was designed as a heavy duty motorhome, not the earlier truck converted ones.
With the Toyota 22R-E, Fuel Injected Engine. Known as one of the best Toyota 4cyl. Engines ever made. It can easily go 300K+ miles without the need of rebuilding.
These engines are extremely well known for their durability, decent fuel efficiency and good low to mid range torque. This is an in-line, four-cylinder engine that achieves maximum torque of 137 foot-pounds at 2,800 rpm and 105 maximum horsepower at 4,800 rpm.
This engine has been running with full-synthetic motor oil. Runs strong and the 4-speed transmission shifts great!
The Dolphin handles like a car and will fit nicely into a standard parking space. It is perfect for a medium size Family, for vacation, across the country, or a weekend at the camp ground or just for the day at the park or lake, or a daily driver.
With its large camper and four cylinder engine, it has enough power to take the hills and cruises very nicely and smoothly on the highway at 65-70 mph. This is one of the best gas mileage motorhomes around, at around 18 mpg.
Inside is very well planned, utilize each and every inch of space for room and comfort, lots of cabinetry for storage, lots of interior lights for convenience and easy access at night. Large and extra windows make a big difference on brightness throughout and great views while traveling.
This Dolphin is equipped with a deep cycle battery that runs all of the interior lights, DC outlets, bathroom vent electric fan, water pump and furnace fan allows you to camp comfortably without the need of plug-in hookup.
When 110v power (30 amp) is available, this RV has full hookup capacity with a built-in power converter to run the 12v systems without dissipating the deep cycle battery. The deep cycle battery is charging either when plugged in to 110v power or while vehicle engine is running.
